Back To Work Again.

Well, it's back to work again after a whole week off for the Chinese New Year holidays. Not that I did get any rest cos I did loads of household re-decorating all week, which was actually pretty fun and surprisingly I really did enjoy doing it, though the next day my body felt like it was trampled by a herd of ravaging wild elephants! But it was worth it though :) Still haven't really gotten into the groove for work yet though I do already have my hands full with some new advertising projects ... oh well, just have to push on with work (thats what pays the bills anyway) and look forward for the next holiday which for the life of me I don't know when. Sad news is my fav footie team Arsenal lost to Chelsea on Sunday :( Good news is things look much brighter for me since the dawn of the Chinese New Year :)

Gong Xi Fa Cai

Hey people, to those who celebrate the CNY, I wanna wish you all a great prosperous year ahead and to those who don't, just enjoy the long holidays:) I'll be off for the whole week so I'm just gonna chill and do nothing, well, I do have some household stuff to do, but that's not really work. Only gripe I have is that those misfiring gunners failed to win their FA Cup tie against, urrmm, Blackburn I think. Oh well, can't win 'em all, ya? It was draw btw. Anyway, I'm gonna be heading out to hit the 'practically' deserted roads and do some shopping, hopefully, some places ate still open today.

Arggggghhhhh!!!

Things were going pretty well until later in the day when I got blamed for something that was of no fault of mine. First the client blames me for some mistake that they insist was my fault (I'm in advertising by the way), then my boss also makes it sound like I'm to blame. I give my all for the company and yet when things go wrong, I'm the first to be blamed (then again, who else is there to blame?) Guess I can't dwell on this issue, the right thing to do would be to move on. What's happened can't be undone, rite? But man, easier said then done. I'm just so stressed and disappointed! It actually ruined my lunch date with my special someone (my apologies to her). Maybe a good nights sleep will help ... somehow I doubt it.

Arsenal Through!

Woke up this morning with some good news that Arsenal finally ended their three-match losing streak at Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium with a 3-1 win after extra time in their FA Cup fourth-round replay. Here's hoping they go all the way to the finals and better yet, hope they win the cup.

Valentine's Here Again ...

So, its Valentine's day again, and what have you done? As for me, I did nothing. Don't really believe in making those blood sucking businesses who prey on the spirit of Valentine to get any richer by offering the same things you can find on other days but at totally 'out of this world' prices. Don't get me wrong, I'm no cheapskate (urmm, well, actually I am .. hehehe), but I don't believe true love is measured by how expensive a gift you get for your loved one. But that's just my opinion, I guess. I know I have something planned for my special someone (she knows who she is), though she doesn't know it yet:) and it will something that I know she really wants and it won't cost me anything more that it normally costs. So, Happy Valentine's Day to all you people out there ...

Trying to post some widgets into this blog but its been giving some crazy headaches getting it right. Maybe I'm just a plain old blur case when it come to creating blogs. But as the saying goes, "if at first you don't succeed, then just shut the damn PC off and head to bed ...

Well, I've been messing with this blog for a bit now and it seems kinda easy to work on, not to mention bloody addictive as well. Guess I'm gonna be scribbling here quite a bit on whatever comes to mind, when I have the time that is, cos I do need to work as well.
