Jangan Pandang Belakang ...

I think I've posted before about how big a coward I am when it comes to all thing supernatural right? And that how wifey is the brave one in the family, right? She's like the superwoman in the family. Well, a couple of days ago, I found out that wifey is only human and was actually as scared as I was while watching this horror movie. I think it was Friday last week, wifey, the boys and me were in the hall watching TV like we always do after dinner.

We've got a couple of shows that we like to watch on Fridays and one of them is something called Restaurant Makeover. That particular show starts a little later in the night, around 10.00pm and the boys look forward to watching it as well cos it's a Friday night and they can stay up later than normal cos on school nights, I send them to bed at 9.30pm.

While waiting for that show to start, wifey would normally channel surf and she happened to chance upon a local horror movie called 'Jangan Pandang Belakang' (Don't Look Back) that was going to clash with the Restaurant Makeover show. Now, while we both don't really watch local movies all that much, this was one that we wanted to see so we opted to watch the movie instead seeing as how there would be a repeat of the Restaurant Makeover show a couple of days later.

The kids weren't too pleased with that decision with the younger fellow (the more vocal one) making a big fuss about it and complaining that he didn't want to see a horror movie cos he would be too afraid to sleep later. But us being adults, well we vetoed his complaints (LOL) and watched the movie instead. Ok, before we go any further, remember I said I'm a big coward when it comes to anything supernatural? Well, that includes horror movies too.

While I love watching horror movies, I'd always have a pillow or throw cushion with me to hide behind (don't you dare laugh!) when the scene gets too spooky. I'd normally cower in fright behind the pillows and peep through the whole movie (I can see you laughing over there!). Wifey on the other hand would normally sit through the whole movie like a if nothing happened. Told you she was a superwoman. LOL!

But this time it was a little different. When the movie finally started, it started off with an exorcism scene in a small village with the local bomoh (a traditional healer) trying to cast away an evil entity from this old man who eventually died. Suddenly there was this one scene just before the intro credits started rolling when this pontianak (local version of a vampire) started crawling down from the top of the house roof. Now this would all be normal for a horror movie but then I hear wifey scream!

Of course, being your regular full time coward, I look at her and scream right along with her. The boys who are already cowering on the floor in front of us with cushions all around them, looks at us screaming and starts to scream along too. Now, the whole family is screaming (I'll bet you guys can just pictures us) and covering our faces with pillows.

After the initial excitement dies down, I ask wifey what the heck she screamed for and she said that figure of the pontianak crawling down took her by surprise cos she didn't notice it and it frighten the hell out of her. Darn! She got me and the boys all worked up for no reason ... hehehe ... I don't know why but she was really freaked out by that scene that throughout the movie (well, not the whole movie anyway) she joined me and the boys by watching the movie from behind our pillows ... LOL!

Actually I don't think the movie was that scary and I wasn't really scared at all, but after wifeys scream, well my imagination ran wild and my younger boy was also acting up and making a big fuss that he was scared, so eventually we opted to switch channels and watch Restaurant Makeover instead. If we did continue watching the movie, I was inclined to join the boys in their little pillow fort that they built.

I've always been terrified of watching horror movies, especially the local ones of yesteryear. They really are so darn creepy that when I was young and my whole family gathered in the living room to watch these movies every Friday night, I'd make a nice little fort of pillows to hide behind and just peek out from behind it and watch the movie. The worse thing is I'd have nightmares after that for days ... hehehe ... in fact I still do.

I remember once, a few years ago, I was all alone at home. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was watching this local horror show called Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam (please don't ask me to translate that to English ... hehehe) and after the show I could hardly take a nap cos I was so scared and it was in the middle of the afternoon mind you!

The thing is I love horror movies and I'd force myself to sit through them and watch them, with or without the pillows, though if there wasn't a pillow handy, I'd peek at it with one eye closed, like as if that would make the show less scarier ... LOL! Some of my favourites are The Exorcist, The Omen (the original one and not the remake), Poltergeist and who can forget Dracula ... hehehe ... The first time I watched The Exorcist when I was a small boy, I almost wet my pants! LOL!

Well, at least I now know that wifey does get scared too at times ... hehehe ... that sure makes me feel good cos most of the time something spooky happens, I'll always let her deal with it :D But honey, you're not allowed to get scared too much, ok? Cos if you do, just who the heck is going to handle the spooky stuff? Definitely not me and the boys. We're not cut out for work like that ... hahaha! Maybe we could get some phone cards that could connect us directly to the Ghost Busters or something ... LOL!

The Struggle

Before I start with my post, let me tell you my body is in total revolt of what I'm doing to it and I'm also not in a great mood! Well, not entirely anyway and it's all because I'm blooming hungry! And it's not like I don't have food or the time to eat. In fact, it's not even like I've not eaten at all, I have, mind you but I'm still darn hungry. And you wanna know why?

Well, from my previous post most of you would know that I've been fighting this yo-yo battle with trying to lose weight. Before anyone starts making fun of me for being a fatty, I am far from being a fatty (and no offense to any fatties out there, ok ... LOL!), it's just that I'm not particularly satisfied with the way I look (then again, who is, ya?).

And as of Sunday, wifey and me decided that we're going to go the way of the cows. No, we're not going to eat grass and neither do we look like cows, well, not entirely anyway ... hehehe ... We've both been eating way too much good food and it's beginning to show in our bodies and we're not too happy about it. We both feel older than we look and it's not a good feeling.

So wifey decided that it's time we put our foot down and start on the road to being healthy 30 and 40 years olds. We've been talking about going on a diet for ages and it has all been talk, talk and more talk while our bodies deteriorate each day while debate about it. The fact that we're not getting any younger also adds to the equation.

Being typical Malaysians, our staple of food consists of rice (which I absolutely must have), meats and all kinds of fried and fatty stuff. And most of the time, after our dinner, we'd both feel like little sumo wrestlers, so puffed up and hard of breath. And the fact that we sit on the couch like slobs after dinner and watch TV doesn't help at all. It's really an absolutely uncomfortable feeling.

So, since Sunday, we've started eating nothing but salads which we've made ourselves. We're both trying to cut down our rice intake and refrain from eating too much meat and all those oily stuff. I wasn't really too keen on eating nothing but greens cos I am a rice and meat person and not having that combination for dinner is going to make me one grouchy and very hungry man.

But I decided to join her in her quest to lose weight and be healthy seeing as how if both of us do it together, we can motivate each other which would make things easier. Or at least I thought it would be easy. I've not eaten rice for 3 whole days now! I've just being surviving on our home made salads and to be honest, though I may be hungry and slightly moody from eating only a fraction of what I'm used too, I must say I feel so much less bloated than I did 3 days ago.

This is actually the first time I've ever gone so long without eating a single grain of rice or meat and for a person who eats huge amounts of food, I actually surprised myself. I'm not a person who likes salads or vegetables all that much and when we first fixed our salad dinner which consisted of the usual leafy green stuff, baby potatoes, eggs, onions, tomatoes, croƻtons, and bacon bits, I wasn't really looking forward to it. In fact I think I even told wifey that I don't think that is going to fill me up at all.

But surprisingly, it tasted bloody good and though it may not have really filled me up, I finished every single bit of it. I practically licked the salad bowl clean ... LOL! But that was the first night and it was tough the next day cos even during lunch, though my mind and stomach were screaming for rice, I refrained from touching it or anything close to that. In fact, all I ate was a homemade tuna sandwich and a small little dumpling.

I'm still hungry like a wolf though. And some of you wonderful people are not helping at all by posting sumptuous and mouth watering pictures of absolutely yummy and delicious food in your blogs. You guys are evil I tell you .. LOL! Have mercy for a guy on a diet, will ya!

I know it's going to be a long and difficult road for me to keep this up but eventually I suppose my body and system would get used to eating much lesser food. So from now on it's going to be nothing but healthy food and maybe once a week, we MIGHT just indulge in a little something as a small reward for both of us :D

I'm not sure if we really can keep this up but since we're doing this together it does make the transition from eating too darn much to eating healthier all that much easier. But it isn't easy I tell you, with all the glorious and wonderful food out there, the temptation to sneak in a nice huge plate of chicken rice or nasi lemak (rice steamed in coconut milk, a local favourite) is just too great.

Well, I can't wait for dinner tonight which will consist of homemade chicken or vegetable soup (I'm not sure which) and probably toasted French loaf (which I need to stop by and get some on the way home), potatoes, some sausages and more salad of course ... LOL! I just hope I can survive till then though. And yes, Adrian, I'm giving up my precious banana leaf rice from now on if you're wondering. I wonder if Sri Paandi (this restaurant we used to go to) serve salads?

This had all better be worth it and once some results start to show, I had better be looking like some hunk or something! ... hahaha ...

Arrrgggghhhhh ... Mondays Revenge!

Would you believe I had to actually go back to the office and do some freakin' work today? On a Sunday at that! And worse yet, just as everything was done and I was about ready to start printing the darn proposal, well I was into page two anyway, when an error message pops up on my PC and tells me in some foreign computer gibberish that my spool sub device something or rather cannot be found! Now, what in tarnation is a spool sub device in the first place?

And with that, my PC refuses to print anymore, no matter how many times I reboot the system, no matter how many times I scream at it and threaten to throw it out the window, no matter how much I plead with, even promising my first born child to it, it just refuses to cooperate. To make matters worse, I can't even use the other PC's in the office to try and print cos the main printer drivers are all on my terminal (who's wise idea it was, I don't know!) and since my terminal refuses to budge, I can't do much. I'm doomed, I tell you. I have a presentation at 10.30am tomorrow and I can't print a single thing.

I'm not really an expert in computers, I do know how to troubleshoot my PC when things go wrong and all that, but when it starts giving me crap which I'm not familiar with, I can't do much. I sat there for an hour (when I could have been home napping instead) trying to figure it all out and in the end I just gave up. Besides it's Sunday, I can't even call my computer guy cos I know for a fact he doesn't answer his cell on Sundays. A smart guy that fellow.

I was so frustrated that in the end I decided to just leave everything and head home. I'll head into the office early tomorrow and try to install the printer and it's driver directly into another PC and hopefully, I'll be able to at least print my proposal in time for my presentation. If not, I'm going to have to cook up a nice little convincing story to my client about how my dog ate the proposal or something along those lines. And if that doesn't work, I could just break down and cry in front of them. That just might work.

Oh, how I LOVE the pressure! Not! Well, it serves me right for doing everything at the last minute. Not that I'll learn from this, mind you. I'm too dumb to learn from anything. I'll probably do this again sometime soon and start bitching about it here as usual. Monday isn't even here yet and it's already looking like a gloomy Monday ... sigghhhh ... By the time this is all over, I'm going to be needing some psoriasis treatment really bad. Urmmm, what the heck is psoriasis anyway? LOL!

Oh, and by the way, do you notice how short this post is? I must really be stressed out!!! I think I'll go to bed and sleep my sorrows away now.

The Models

It's been a while since I last posted anything here, four days to be specific and in blog speak, that's like a decade. And it's not because I've been terribly busy though it is one of the reasons but it's also cos I've been a little on the 'no mood to post anything' phase. And when I'm in that phase, I really don't have much mood to do anything let alone post. I have been blog hopping though, just no mood to write.

I was trying to go for a record of sorts, maybe not post anything until the weekend (hah!) but I guess this blog has more control over me than I care to admit ... hehehe ... Anyway, since I was given no choice (what, you think I'm doing this of my own free will? LOL!) I might as well post something today or else I'd go crazy!

It's been a very crazy week, work wise that is, with every client I had needing all their work done in record time and I hardly had time to sit and blog at all (ok, I blog from the office too, so sue me!) but I do know how to separate my time for work and blogging ... well, at least I think I do... hehehe ... Most of that urgent work has been completed, in record time no doubt with the highlight of my week being this very last minute impromptu photoshoot that I did on Tuesday.

This particular client of mine was about to launch a new product at the end of this month, which they conveniently forgot to inform me that they moved up the launching date to this weekend and I only found out about it on Monday evening. So there I was scrambling to arrange for a photographer, crossing my fingers and everything else that can be crossed that our regular photographer was available. He was, I could kiss the bum ... LOL!

Next, comes the subject of talents. This client (a financial institution) is kind of a tightwad and will not spend on professional talents, so they insist that any talents or models come from their own staff. Now, I seriously hate working with non professionals.

The last shoot I had for them using their own models gave me a headache for days afterwards! But I thought this time it might be a little better cos all the models would have to do is stand in front of this particular product and smile. How hard can that be, ya?

How wrong I was. These models were so emotionless and stiff that I think I could have probably coaxed a dead body to smile and pose more effectively than they did. 'Oh god', I thought, this is going to be a long long long day and it was.

It took close to a little over two whole hours to actually get the perfect shot that I needed, something that if I had professional models would have taken no more than 45 minutes max! And it was under the damn blazing sun at that. I felt like a sweaty stinky pig (do pigs even sweat, ah?) by the end of it all. And the worse thing is, these 'models' actually thought they were doing a good job, if they only knew how much of insults my photographer and me hurled at them, they'd probably smack us silly ... LOL!

Well, at least I got that job completed and out of the way with two days to spare before their launch. I've still got a few other jobs with them but someone up there must like me today cos the person I normally deal with is on leave today and my cell has been so nice and silent all day :D

And I thought I could rest but there really is no rest for the weary cos I remembered that I have to attend a meeting with the BEC (Basic Ecclesial Communities) group after work tonight. This is one of those church groups for my neighbourhood who wants me to do something for their family day which is next week.

Actually in a way, this is all my own fault. I think some of you who have been reading my blog since last year would remember that I made a theme for Christmas called Winter Wonderland where I carved out a snowscape for my Christmas tree area.

And the carolers (who also happen to be BEC members) that came by during their rounds saw it and said what a good job I had done (well, I didn't think so but I was happy for the compliment all the same ... hehehe) and so, they now want me to create a theme for them and then carve it out of styrofoam for their family day. All fine and proper, but I've never done this on such a huge scale and I also don't really have time to carve it out on my own and paint it some more!

I'm in two minds about actually going for the meeting, but I'm afraid that if I don't go, God is going to send a lightning bolt my way ... hehehe ... But I'm afraid if I do go, they'll sucker me into committing myself to doing it for them and I'm a sucker for getting myself into messes like these ... LOL!

I already do have an idea for them and even carved out a miniature model of this old mining cave entrance that would suit their theme just fine but for the life of me, I don't know how I'm going to manage this on a bigger scale. I seriously think I'm just going to tell them what to do, how to do it and politely decline being involved personally. Besides, I hate socializing too much.

You guys don't think I'm mean and evil do you for not really being enthusiastic about helping out? Well, If you do, I don't care ... LOL! You guys can always go and help them instead :D As for me, I've got loads more things to occupy my insane mind such as this used cisco project that I'm working on. That alone is going to keep me busy for a couple more days, minimum!

My Sick & Demented Friend!

My best friend, Adrian or Genie King as most of you would know him as is sick and absolutely demented. I've practically known him for more than half my life and never knew he had this demented streak in him. I really thought I knew him well, after all we've been friends for what? Twenty plus years or more? It really amazes me at how he's changed into this very sick, demented guy. Sometimes you think you know a person well and when it comes down to it, you really don't. Siggghhhhh ...

'Ok folks, he's in one of his moods here. So be prepared for one of his famously known long winded posts again.'

Ah, my unknown interloper is back. You've been missing for a while now to the point I started missing your sarcasm ... LOL! And since he put it that way, let me start from the top. Adrian is one of the bestest friends that I have. That's because my friends list is so low that you can count them on the fingers of one hand and have at least 3 fingers left to spare. We've gone through some pretty great times since we've known each other.

So, its really come as a surprise to me at what he's becoming. Adrian and me talk on the phone during office hours quite a bit, well we used to anyway. Ever since his office started charging everyone for personal calls, we've cut down our gossip sessions during office hours considerably (yes, even guys gossip on the phone too, ok. LOL!). And with both of us tied up with our work and family duties, we hardly hang out all that much. In fact we keep tabs with each other mostly through our blogs, sad but true.

Now, just the other day, I was kinda free and I called him to chat on the phone for a bit. We get into our usual insult each other conversations, our game talks, football updates and all those other stuff guys talk about ... hehehe ... then the conversation turned towards his classes. My buddy decided a few months back to go do his urmmm, what was it buddy? Your Masters? Or Diploma or something like that, right? When I first found out about it I was speechless and it takes a lot to make a big mouth like me speechless. Going back to school was never something I ever wanted to do again and so did my buddy. So you can understand my shock.

After the initial shock settled in, I was happy for the bum, urrmmm, I mean Adrian. I know the reason he's doing it and I wished him all the best. Then came time for his exams and true to form, he kept his studying to the last minute, all fine and proper. I'm sure he breezed through his exams :D Ok, now comes the part where I think he's sick and totally demented. So as I said earlier, during our phone chat the conversation turned towards his classes:

Me: 'So, your exams are over, huh?'

Adrian: 'Yeah, and I'm glad.'

Me: 'Cool, now can relax la ...'

Adrian: 'Well, I'm planning and preparing for my next exam la. Don't want to be last minute again.'

Me: *Blinks eyes with mouth open* (Note: second time he's managed to make me speechless)

My buddy, who just like me during our college days, never ever loved studying, is actually preparing himself for his next exam way in advance. Oh my god, what is coming over him? LOL! Back when we were studying together, I don't think we ever studied for any exam, let alone start preparing for one way in advance! And now, here he is, the guy who would be the first to run out of college to go 'somewhere' (that shall remain a secret buddy, don't worry ... hehehe) and not bother with the books is now enjoying studying. Oh my god! I really can't believe this.

I think he's sick and demented and I told him so ... LOL! I could never study again, especially not after I've finally left school. I swore to myself that once I leave school, I'm never going to hit the books again. Well, I did actually go and do a Graphic Design course but that's another story altogether. I really hated school, studying and all the homework it involved. I just couldn't wait to finish school and not have to do homework again. And I almost always never studied for any of my exams. How I actually passed remains a mystery to this very day ... hehehe ...

I still remember back in our old college days we'd all plan for a study session at either my house or my buddy's place but the moment we all got together, studying would be the last thing we did! My whole aim in life at that time was to finish school as fast as possible and start work so that I would never have to be saddled with home work or have to study for any exams. As bad as work may be, at least when it was over you didn't have to take it home with you. You didn't have to do any homework, you didn't have to study for any test. The evening would be free to do as I see fit.

And right now, I'm pretty happy with that arrangement :D As for my buddy I'm amazed and still slightly speechless that he's actually enjoying this studying thing he has going. Well buddy, I wish you all the best in your studies and am happy for you and all that but I guess for me, I just couldn't wait to get away from it all. I'd probably go mad if I was to even consider studying again ... hehehe ... I'll just stick to simple stuff like this Baldwin assignment that I'm supposed to do. Doesn't require any studying at all :D And I still think you're sick and demented, buddy! LOL!

Wifey, Me & Tony Roma!

Wifey and me finally had our date yesterday and it didn't start out very well though. After getting the boys ready and sending them off to school and putting away the hdmi cables that I was messing around with earlier, we got ourselves ready to go for the afternoon hi-tea date that we had vouchers for. The hotel wasn't too far from my house, probably a 10 minute drive maximum and we were so excited about our date that we left early. The hi-tea was only supposed to start at around 2.30pm and we were so early that we decided to drive as slow as we could. There I was for the first time in my life hoping there would be heavy traffic on the roads ... LOL!

After crawling around like a snail to the hotel, we finally get there and find out it's held in this place called the Piano Lounge, a sort of open lounge in the hotel lobby. Now, the moment I stepped into the place I start feeling totally uncomfortable. I was even really hesitant to go in but after a little persuasion from wifey, I got ourselves a seat on the couch. I was still hesitant and told wifey I don't feel like having the hi-tea. She gave me this bewildered look and ask me, what's wrong?

There really was nothing wrong, the place though a little open and just too darn close the lobby entrance wasn't all that bad, but I was just uncomfortable. I don't know why it was so. It's not like this is the first time I've been to stuff like this (buddy, remember the time you conned me to attend this Secretaries Hi-tea function once and we were the only 2 guys there? LOL!) but I was totally not myself and I told wifey I don't feel like having the hi-tea here. She was disappointed but we both never insist in doing something neither one of us is uncomfortable with.

So, we walk out of there and I tell wifey that I'm sorry and I'll take her somewhere else where I'll feel much more myself (and no buddy, I didn't take her for banana leaf rice okay ... LOL). I decided to take a drive to a mall near the hotel called Sunway Pyramid. I knew they had some pretty cool restaurants there and I'm sure I'll find something she'll like. After we reach there, park the car, which was a breeze cos it's was a work day. The parking in this place is like impossible on a weekend and I was at least glad for that.

We walk around the place trying to find some other place to eat and they had a quite a few restaurants there that I was spoilt for choice and didn't know which one to pick and the fact that wifey said she doesn't mind eating anywhere made my decision all that much harder ... hehehe ... The first place I wanted to try was TGIF but then I checked the information counter and they had Tony Roma's listed. My buddy Adrian and Marzie has blogged about how great the food is at this place (and he's seldom wrong when it comes to food places) and since I haven't tried it before, I decided to give it a try and I grab wifey and we head towards Tony Roma's.

When we reached there we got seated immediately seeing as how it was a work day and also slightly way past lunch time. The place was pretty quiet with only about 2 or 3 other patrons, just the way I liked it ... hehehe ... We get seated at this nice quiet corner and start looking through the menu. I decided to order the Blue Cheese burger (which was also recommended by both Adrian and Marzie on their blogs) and wifey ordered this urmmm, Garlic Chicken with Rosemary leaves or something like that. The food took a while in coming but I wasn't complaining, after all there I was cozying up in this corner table in a dark little restaurant with some music playing in the background that I couldn't recognize with the love of my life and feeling like a kid on his first date again.

We chatted, messed around by taking some pictures, eaves dropped on this couple a few tables away from us trying to guess their nationality (they were a German and a Filipino by the way, well atleast wifey thought so), made up some conspiracy theories, laughed at the government a little bit and then our food finally came and it sure smelt yummy :D The first thing we did, which was what probably what all bloggers would do was take a picture of our food ... hahaha ... Wifey started digging in first cos my burger took a little while longer to arrive. When I first ordered the burger she looked at me and said, only a burger? You sure honey? I don't think that's going to fill you up but fill me up it did. I could hardly finish my burger when it finally came and I was stuffed like a turkey on thanksgiving by the time I was through with it.

I'm a fan of blue cheese and I must say I wasn't disappointed one bit when my buddy said the blue cheese burgers at Tony Roma's were out of this world. The blue cheese was simple excellent and so darn rich that I had to struggle to finish my meal. I was absolutely satisfied with my meal and I must say it was one of the best dates I've had with wifey in a long time, so much so that I promised her that I'll take a day off from work every month and go do this again with her, just the two of us ... :D And the moment we both got home, we headed straight to bed (now don't get any notty ideas) and took a nice quiet nap together, seeing as how we were both stuffed and it was the best thing to do ... hehehe ...

I'm glad I felt uncomfortable at the hotel cos even though I didn't utilize the free vouchers, I had a great time with wifey and it's made us, well me really, realize that we hardly spent time alone together. It's not easy finding the time when you have kids, especially 2 hyper active boys and so we treasure and cherish every single chance we get to be alone. And if you're reading this, I hope you had a great time too honey cos I know I did :) Looking forward to our next date, babe ;)

Stupid Cupid, Stop Pickin' On Me!

I mentioned in my post yesterday that Monday was treating me kindly, which was a surprise cos I hate Mondays. The good news so is Tuesday, but then Tuesday's have always been a pretty good day anyway.

Most of my work for the day is already done and that leaves me with a lot of free time on my hands for now. And since tomorrow I'm going to be on leave from the office for the day (which makes me love Wednesdays even more ... hehehe) I thought I'd do a tag that was presented to me quite a while back.

Mariuca of Wishing On A Falling Star so graciously or sadistically, take your pick (LOL!) tagged me with this tag that is going to require me to be a little more serious, which I'm not really known for. Serious and me don't really go together very well ... hehehe ...

Now, just what tag is it that actually requires a goof ball like me to keep the humour in check you might say? The True Love tag, of course! You can't go around playing the fool with anything to do with Love now, ok. That is if you don't wanna get shot in your butt with an arrow by that short fat and almost naked cupid fellow ... hahaha ... See, I told you guys I could never be serious :D

At least by doing this I can cut down the number of tags in my tag closet to a more tolerable level of 2,350,678 outstanding tags left to do! Not so so bad, eh? Ok here goes. This tag is about True Love and you're supposed to answer them as honestly as you can or if you're going to lie about your answer, just don't get caught ... LOL!

And don't worry, before you all go, oh no, I wonder who he's going to tag next. I'll be a nice kind soul this time round and not tag anyone seeing as how I know ALL of you have got huge bundles of tags pending so I'm not going to add to your misery for today. Tomorrow maybe, but not today :D So, here goes nothing ...

What does true love mean to you?
When 2 people know each others every limitations, every imperfection, every shortcoming, every flaw and in spite of all that they accept each other without hesitation!

How do you know you're really in love?

When you're away from her you can't stop thinking of her. When you're with her, you can't get enough of her. When you cry or laugh, you want to do it with her.

How many times in your life have you fallen in love?
Can't really remember but the last one is the one that mattered the most.

Have you ever fallen out of true love because you were mad at the moment?
Nope.

Do you feel love and physical attraction are the same thing?
No, but I do believe you need both.

If your true love became ill or disfigured, would you continue to love them the same way?
Silly question this. She's my TRUE LOVE, of course I will. To eternity and beyond!

Should anyone else be able to tell you who to love or not love?
Nope, they should most definitely mind their own business!

Do you believe people that ended up divorced were truly in love?
Yes, I do but people change, life is unpredictable and things happen.

Would you give up something you want for someone you love?
I'd give up my life for her!

If you truly love someone do you feel it should be unconditional?
That's the only way it should be.

Well, there you have it, me being as serious as I could possibly be :D And now that I've done this rather serious tag, I can work on that baby shower invitations my colleague ask me to help him with. He's organizing one for his sister and needs some help with the invitation cards and he knows I can't refuse to stuff like these ... hehehe ...

Woohoo, I Love Monday ...

As always the weekend just goes by in the blink of an eye. Not that I did anything much over the weekend mind you. Remember my arm was busted and I basically stayed home the whole weekend. The good news is my arm is 99% completely healed, I still feel a very slight tug when I move my arm too fast but otherwise it's on its way back to normal. Phew, thank god for that.

The pain wasn't as bad as it was on Friday but it was really uncomfortable, especially when I had to refrain myself from moving it too much. And for one who can't really keep his hands still, that was a real tough thing to do! I'm the kind of person who can't keep still and need to be fiddling with stuff and having only one good hand to do things was a really headache.

The sad thing was I couldn't really help wifey with our usual Saturday household chores. The poor girl had to do almost everything herself on top of having to look after me too. I did help out as best as one arm would allow though. And the other sad thing was I couldn't go for my run ... sob, sob, sob ... Well, I could have gone for it cos by Sunday the arm was much more tolerable but I didn't dare aggravate it and besides wifey would have broken both my legs if I went when I wasn't completely healed yet ... hehehe ...

I guess there would be other races for me to take part in soon. But reading about the race in the newspapers today and all the fun the contestants had sure makes me feel a little blue though. But then, there really is no reason for me to feel blue today even though it's the dreaded Monday, which I despise so much. And you wanna know why? Well, for one, today was a free day. I did have one appointment this morning, but that was a piece of cake, then when I went home for lunch wifey told me my free voucher for a complimentary spa treatment along with another voucher for a complimentary English afternoon tea for two at the Sheraton Subang came today (*HUGE BIG SMILE*) in the mail.

That's not so bad for a Monday isn't it? :D Well, the complimentary vouchers were courtesy of my favourite telecommunication company Digi Telecommunications for being such a loyal and good (ahem) customer all these years ... hehehe ... actually this isn't the first time I've received stuff from them. I've been with this Digi for as long as I can remember and have only used one other cell provider in my lifetime. And I'm almost always very prompt with my bill payments. I hate having outstanding balances in my bill and always make sure that my bills are paid on time.

There have been times I've even paid more than the billing amount (and I get an earful from wifey for paying more than is stated on the bill). I like my bills as current as possible. Even the utility bills are up to date and sometimes even over paid (ok honey, I'll stop over paying them ... hehehe ....).

And for being their loyal customer I've gotten loads of stuff from my telecommunication provider such as photo frames, cell phone discounts, a nice traveling bag, vintage sunglasses (ok, that was not true ... hehehe) but this is by far one of the best I've got, especially the English afternoon tea voucher which wifey and me are eager to use. It's been a while since the two of us went out on a date together alone (without the boys).

I'm so looking forward to it, that I'm taking leave from work this Wednesday to go for it. The boys would be at school so wifey and me can have some time to ourselves. I'm all excited about the date already ... hehehe ... I'll be sure to take loads of pictures and share them with you guys here okay? LOL! I'm not a spa kinda person but I wish they could have sent the spa vouchers a little earlier though, it sure would have come in a little handy when I was suffering from the shoulder pain last week! Oh well, it'll still be valid for a while though.

At least for once I'm not bitching about what a lousy Monday it's been. You guys know just how much I hate Mondays and how much I can complain about it, right? LOL! Now, I hope no one goes and ruins my Monday by deciding to tag me with a meme or anything (and you know who you are ... LOL!). Oooo I hear thunder in the distance and wifey also just yahoo messaged me that the skies are darker than kicap soya masin (soy sauce). I guess a storm is a brewing which suits me just fine cos the weather was a tad too stifling this afternoon. The rain would be a good respite for the heat ...

Pain, Pain, Go Away ...

Every morning when I get up for work, I'll always laze around in bed for an extra couple of minutes before I really have to force myself to get up and go get ready for work. But the difference with this morning was, the moment I woke up I thought I was crippled!

I could hardly move my left arm without eliciting a sharp jolt of excruciating pain from the edge of my shoulder all the way down my arm to my elbow. That's it, I thought, I'm doomed. I'm going to be crippled in bed forever (touch a thousand woods). I lay there and stare at the ceiling for a bit. Wifey is downstairs getting the boys ready for school. I know she'll be up in a few minutes tough.

So, while waiting for her, I slowly test the rest of my body by moving around and everything seems to be okay except the left shoulder section and the upper arm. I realize that I can't lift my arm above my waist without feeling a sharp jolt of pain. And I really mean pain. I was fine last night before sleeping so I guess it must have had something to do with the way or position I slept last night. I've woken up with a stiff neck a few times before but this is like pain I've never felt before. I finally manage to sit up and wifey walks in the room.

Wifey has to help me out of my T-shirt so I can go take my shower cos I can't lift my arm to take it off. That's how bad it was. After my shower wifey rubs some of this ointment and gives my shoulder and back a rub down and she says she can practically feel this lump of knotted muscles (urmmm, maybe not muscles la cos I don't have any ... hehehe ... more like veins). With wifeys help, I struggle to get ready for work. I should really take the day off and go see a doctor but I'm a stubborn fellow. Besides I have stuff to do in the office today.

The drive to work was a killer cos I drive a manual car and every single shift of the transmission sends a jolt of pain up my arm. I'm practically screaming ouch, arrghh, ouch, arrghh with every move I make and it feels like the longest and most painful 10 minute drive from my house to my work place ever! Well, I thought it would be an easy day at the office so I wouldn't have to use my arm too much, but it just so conveniently happens, I have to drive all the way to the heart of the city for an appointment and I know I'm going to regret not taking the day off today.

What is wrong with me these days? I go to sleep feeling healthy and fine and I wake up feeling like a semi cripple! This is not really the first time something like this has happened to me but this is by far the most painful one though. It's been like 8 hours already and the pain is as bad if not worse than this morning. And if it doesn't go off or at least subsides a little by the time I get home, I know wifey is going to insist I go see a doctor or something. She says it's better to get it checked out cos it might be more that meets the eye (gee, that sounds like the transformers la ... LOL!) And she just maybe be right.

I'm not young any longer (but 41 is not old right? right?? RIGHT???) and I've got to take a little more care of this battered body of mine. I can't afford to be bed ridden or anything like that. I've got responsibilities. I've got a family to care for. Sometimes it can be just a tad frightening when things like this happen. I bet I could easily shake this off in my younger days. Now things take a little bit longer to heal. Sighhhh ....

You know, I've always wondered that if anything were to happen to me (touch wood!), would my family be taken care of? Would they be able to fend for themselves? I would love to think so. I don't want them to suffer if I'm no longer around. We're not the richest family in the world neither are we the poorest and we've gone through some real rough times a couple of years back when I was retrenched and had to face some pretty serious financial turmoil which resulted in me looking for the best credit cards on offer and trying to get some easy online credit card approval particularly when balance transfer cards are concerned just to be able to make sure that I could provide for wifey and the boys.

Though I'm working hard to get back on the road to financial recovery, I'm not 100% there yet but I do know that I want to be healthy and still be around to the ripe old age of at least 100 (I've always told wifey I want to live to be at least a hundred. LOL!) and to do that I've just got to take care of myself a little better. So, I just might go and see a doctor after work today just to be sure that pain isn't something more serious than a pinched nerve or knotted muscle. Oh my god, I just realized that if the pain doesn't subside by tomorrow I can't go for my 10K orange run race at the curve this Sunday!!! And this was supposed to be the first race I'm taking part in a long time ... ok, that makes my decision much easier, to the doctors it is after work today!

You all have a nice weekend and if you don't see me online over the weekend and judging by the numbness I still feel in my arm, that means the pain is still there and I'm laid up in bed and I've probably missed my race and would be in a foul mood and brooding all weekend ... hahaha ...

T-Shirts Anyone?

The T-shirt you see above was given to me by Rozella of Asian Mutt International (I must remember one day to ask her what in heavens name Asian Mutt International means ... LOL!). It's actually a tag for this urmmm, what did she call it? The You've Been Sloganized tag. And if you must know, she's the creator of this really DIFFICULT tag so for all those who get tagged by me in return, you know who you can scream at okay ... LOL!

Alright, the basis of this tag is pretty simple. She had this idea to start giving out blogger slogan T-shirts instead of blogger awards which seems like a fun thing to do (well, to her at least ... LOL!), if only she could just send the real T-shirts, now that would be a brilliant idea! LOL! I'm definitely a T-shirt kinda person, I even wear them to work, well, unless of course I happen to have an appointment la. But I've been known to go for appointments with T-shirts before though ... hehehe ...

An since I'm a T-shirt kinda person I thought I'd get right down to doing this tag now since I'm free and all that right now. Besides I've been sitting on it for a while now and I do have loads of other tags to do as well. One at a time people, one at a time ... hehehe ...

So, here are the usual rules you'd find attached to tags and make sure you follow them to the tee (pun intended).

1. If you've been sloganized, paste your T-shirt on your blog for all to see :D

2. Include the image of the plain tee which you can get here so others can use it to sloganize new T-shirts that they want to pass on.

3. Then you have to sloganize 5, yes 5 other friends including the culprit who sloganized you.

4. If your slogans are not original, please mention where you got them from. Can't be stealing someone else's idea now can you?

5. Have fun (yeah, right ... LOL!) and please remember to have a sense of humour too :D

First, the person who tagged me - Rozella. Needs no further explanation seeing as how she adores Jason Castro and would spitefully and gleefully (LOL) tag me with loads of tags the moment I insult that Jason character ... LOL! So I thought this would be the most appropriate slogan for her ... hahaha ...

If you see your name below, that means you've been tagged (duh!) by me. I know some of you may have been tagged with this already but what's another tag or two or even three, ya? LOL!

From left to right:

Marzie, the Contest Queen. The only person in blogland who has the most number of contest to reward her visitors. Oh and I just have to boast that I'm one of her lucky winners too ... LOL!

Cindy, The Shopaholic, no explanations needed. That girl is the queen of shopping be it online or offline ... LOL!

Adrian, my best loony bin of a friend. The only one in this world (besides wifey) who can tolerate and understand my slightly skewered thinking only because he's as skewered thinking as I am ... hehehe ...

And last but not least, Nessa, that blogging mama with her signature 3D magic 'can see or not' pictures that she 'tortures' us with ... LOL! Which we all perversely love by the way :D Pictures that make your eyes do things you never thought it could ... hehehe ...

Oh and by the way, those are not their real pictures, okay? LOL! Those picture are in no way related to any living or urmmm not living persons on this earth. Any similarities to anyone are purely coincidental ... LOL! And your T-Shirts are in the mail ... yeah, right! :D

By the way, can you buy baby tees from a baby boutique? No? Just thought I'd ask ... LOL!

The Last Minute Specialists

The day was going pretty well, so well in fact that I was enjoying the morning. I was so free that I could sit back with a nice steaming mug of coffee and just blog all day and even work on some tags and memes that I've been hoarding away in my meme cabinet. But somehow I knew it wouldn't last too long. And true to form, it didn't. There I was in the midst of doing this particular tag when I get a buzz on my phone:

'Nick, call for you line 1 from Mr. Xyz.'

Hmmm ... Mr. Xyz is one of my clients in the banking industry. And whenever he calls, it can never be good news. So I pick up the phone and cautiously say hello to Mr. Xyz. And he cheerfully says:

'Nick, how are you? It's been a while since I called you.'

Now, that wasn't really true cos he called me just yesterday morning and judging from the tone of his voice I knew this wasn't a social call. All the senses in my body decided to go on high alert. So I politely ask him how I may help him. He goes:

'Aiyah Nick, ah. We got this event that we need to do and I need your help.'

Ok, I say, no problem, I can do that. But I'm still very cautious and am waiting for the other shoe to drop. So I ask him when is the event and what's it all about. That's when the other shoe decides to drop.

'Aiyoo, you know us la Nick, the event is Thursday la. And we need things up by tomorrow night. Still a lot of time right?'

A lot of time my smelly foot! My eyes almost pop out of its sockets and in a barely controlled rage I say:

'Thursday? This Thursday? Today is Tuesday you know, and tomorrow is Wednesday and then it's Thursday. That's like 2 days away Mr. Xyz!'

I knew the day was going just a bit too good to be true. And he replies:

'I know, but what to do. I know you can do it one, your company the last minute specialists what!'

At this point I feel like just hanging up the phone but then my boss would strangle me cos they are one of our main clients as well. I don't actually blame him for presuming that we can get things done in such a short time. It's also partly my fault cos I tend to actually agree to do last minute jobs for them when everyone else doesn't. I take a deep breath and ask him the details for the event and what he needs done and get myself settled in for a long 2 days!

And after getting the brief from him, I find out it's a campaign to promote their new hire purchase product at this mall and I'm going to need to scramble and come up with some concepts and arrange some trade show booths, backdrops and a couple of banner stands for them. And I am cutting it really close by agreeing to do this for them. But if I refuse, they'll just go harass some other agency and I don't want them doing that. I want my company to be the first company they think of when they need work done.

The good thing is, that these days, even with the last minute deadline I'm relieved that there are a host of suppliers out there where I can get all this custom made exhibition stuff at a moments notice. People like Camelback Displays are lifesavers at times like these. They provide the complete range of exhibition booths of the easy to assemble Pipe and Drape kind with printable table skirts that you can customize with your company's logo or branding.

Back in the old days, I wold have practically pulled my hair out trying to accomodate a 2 day deadline. I'd probably at least need a minimum of 7-10 days, nothing less. And at least 6 whole days of sleepless nights would follow suit. Ok, I'd better get out of here and start working on that job instead of sitting here and blogging the rest of the day away. But it's sooooo hard to pull myself away from my blog though. Maybe just a few minutes more ... LOL!

The Mischief Kids Do ...

This morning after making the kids breakfast, wifey and me will start our usual Saturday routine of cleaning up the place. So, while wifey does the laundry I'll start with the cleaning up of the kitchen and work my way to the mopping of the floor and the cleaning of the bathrooms and wifey will join me the moment the laundry is in the washing machine.

Now, I live in a house with 3 bathroom, two upstairs and one downstairs near the kitchen and dining area. So I'll start with that bathroom first. Today I tun on the tap and notice that the water is not going down the sink. Darn, I mutter to myself. This has happened quite few times before.

'The sink is stuck again, honey' I holler.

I've never really called a plumber for this cos it's a simple job of taking the plunger and clearing it up. So, I take the plunger and plunge, what else, the sink and to my utter amazement, I see loads of orange seeds start backing up from the pipe. Now who the heck threw orange seeds down the bathroom sink and I shout for wifey again:

'Hon, there's loads of orange seeds stuck here. Who's the smarty pants who threw them down here in the first place?'

The moment I said that, we both stop and look at each other and instantly know the culprit is. Our younger boy! That fellow is just up to all kinds of mischief and recently we bought him oranges and he's the only one who has been eating them. Wifey calls him in and gives him a piece of her mind about his wisdom at times. And that fellow has this innocent little boy look on his face! LOL! He's giving her his 'what are you talking about look' that he's famous for.

Well, after the chewing out he got from wifey, I practically spend at least half an hour trying to clear the blockage and it wasn't easy, mind you. The amount of seeds in there were phenomenal. I think he threw everything down the sink. I was totally pissed and in the process somehow snagged my little pinky on god knows where that I ripped out a chunk of flesh (not really a chunk but it sounds so much more dramatic ... LOL) that you could see the whites of my flesh and the next thing you know, blood starts gushing out.

It never fails to happen though, whenever I try to do any handy work, I'm bound to hurt myself somehow. Now don't get me wrong, it's not that I can't do any handy work whatsoever, it's just that I'm a little bit careless at times and would always end up with wounds after any handy work session. I guess I'm not cut out to be a handyman like Tim 'The Toolman' Taylor and that's probably why I work in advertising, it's so much safer ... LOL!

All that aside I managed to clear the blockage at least until those two geniuses come up with another scheme of theirs. The younger fellow is really the number one culprit when it comes to all these schemes. He suckers his older brother into going along with his all his schemes. But then I guess that's just the trait of every little hyper active kid in this world ... LOL! I wasn't an angel in my younger days as well. I can't think of at least a couple of pranks and mischief that I got myself into in my time.

I remember when I was about 4 or maybe 5 years old. I used to live in this seaside town called Port Dickson cos my dad used to work in the National Electricity Board and we were provided government quarters to stay in. There was this elderly family living next door and one day, I took a piece of wire and tied their door latch from the outside with it and it just so happened that on day there was this police scene outside our quarters (something about the police apprehending this thief or something) and we all ran out like the busy bodies we were to watch the commotion. Unfortunately this elder couple just couldn't get out of their house cos I tied their latch together and they were screaming for help and eventually some of the other neighbours helped them out.

I was snickering away at it all (ok, I know it was a mean thing to do but hey, I was 4 or 5 years old at that time, k?) and till today I never admitted it even though the whole neighbourhood suspect it was me. I was the Dennis the Menace of the neighbourhood in those days ... hehehe ... I also remember throwing stones at freight trains just to test a theory that the stones would never hit the moving trains cos of this urrmmm, layer of air turbulence around it and I was right cos the darn stones just flew straight back at me. Unfortunately one of my busy body neighbours saw me do this and complained to mom and I got the belting of my life when I got home later.

Darn that neighbour. But it did get me a nice big ice cream later cos mom felt so bad at having wallop half the life out of me, she bought me this nice huge ice cream cone :D But I still hate that snitch of a neighbour though! So, I can understand and relate when my boys get up to mischief but I just hate having to clean up their pranks. I guess that's how my mom must have felt when I was young! LOL! Maybe I should look in getting them a nice desk so they can actually sit and do some work on it and stay out of mischief all the time. We have two desks, well, one really, the other is an old computer table and half the time either me and wifey are using the other desk for our blogging purposes and the kids always end up using the computer desk and they really don't like it all that much.

I've been actually looking around for some decent office desks to get for myself so I can give the kids the current desk we're using, but so far all the office furniture shops that I've checked out don't have anything that catches my eye just yet. But wifey told me about this site online that have some pretty cool and sturdy office tables and I just had to check it out. I got my eyes set on the Price Point Grey cantilever crescent desk, looks about just what I had in mind anyway.

And these desks are not your everyday run of the mill kind ok, they have a 25mm thick desktop while most of the same have 18mm tops. And it also has double upstand legs, which is really 2 vertical supports instead of one which reduces bowing which is a good thing seeing as how I have loads of stuff on my desk and it has this 2mm thick edging compared to similar models which only have a 0.6mm thick edging. What's more, they come with and 8-year guarantee at that. What more could I want? So for me, it's going to be Price Point office desks or nothing at all :D

Free Food, Well, Almost Anyway ...

There is some justice in this world afterall. Wifey told me a little while ago that Ramiele was booted out of American Idol. She was one of those on my prediction list that I posted about on Spiff's blog, though the other two predictions I made to join her in the bottom three were totally off the mark. Oh well, you can't win 'em all ... LOL! And I'm glad she was the one who got kicked out. She was by far the weakest of all the contestants and she was getting a tad bit on my nerves with her 'cute-cute, sweet-sweet' behavior! LOL!

At least the 3 guys that I'm rooting for looks to be heading in the right direction with their mind numbing (ok, maybe not mind numbing la ... hehehe) performances, especially Michael Johns. I'm sure most of you would have caught their performances last night so I need not elaborate too much or else you guys are probably going to suffer through my mind numbing long winded post instead ... hahaha ... so I'll spare you guys the headache :D

Anyway, I really wanted to post about something even more mind numbing today. This afternoon (yes I bummed off a little longer for lunch), wifey and me went and did our usual weekly grocery shopping at our nearby favourite neighbourhood hypermarket. We hate going when there's crowds and this arrangement works pretty well.

As usual, we walk through all the isles and start picking out the stuff we need. We normally have a set pattern of how we shop starting with the toiletries, laundry detergents, etc, etc and end up in the vegetable and poultry section last. We basically buy more or less the same amount of things that we know the price by heart and we'd be the first to complain if the price went up, which it does on occasion.

But this time, we got the shock of our lives when we went to the fresh vegetable section and discovered they were selling all the fresh green stuff there for only 10 cents per pack! When wifey told me, I couldn't believe what I heard. I just had to go there and look at the price with my own eyes and true enough, it read 10 cents for a pack of fresh vegetables! And they were indeed fresh, not wilted, rotten or stuff like that.

Man, I was flabbergasted. What in the world can you buy for 10 cents these days? Practically nothing at all, well, maybe 2 sweets, but that's about it. And here, they were selling fresh vegetables at 10 cents per pack. Now I know why I love this hypermarket. Overall, on normal days they already sell the cheapest products compared to their three main rivals and now they're selling vegetables at 10 cents, practically free. I could just go and kiss the owner of the hypermarket ... LOL!

So wifey bought 2 packet of something called urrmmm, water spinach. Well, that's what is says on the label, I'm no good at recognizing the different types of vegetables. I can't tell the difference from spinach and cauliflower ... LOL! We should have bought more of those practically free vegetables though but we tend to not cook all that much at home and it would just wilt away in our fridge, not that it would matter cos it was only 10 cents, but we don't like wasting food.

And that wasn't all, we're huge egg eaters at home, well I am anyway. And the usual egg price per tray of 30 is around RM8.34 to RM8.99 (I think) but today they were selling it at RM6.85! It's not nearly as good as the 10 cents vegetables but it's good enough for me. Normally I'd be complaining about the prices going up, but no such complains from me this time. The cheapest these guys have sold the eggs were RM3.99 per tray of 30 a couple of months ago and you should have seen the amount of eggs I had in my house then. It would put a chicken farm to shame ... LOL!

Sometimes life can work out just fine and give you nothing to complain about. I've always been loyal to this particular hypermarket and with the prices they have, I've become a lifelong fan :) The first time they opened, I didn't really like them all that much and used to shop with their rivals next door until one fine day I decided to 'check' the place out and after comparing their prices, no one beats them in giving the best deals. And since then I've never gone anywhere else to do my grocery shopping. I don't normally promote someone else's business but today I will. If you want to save on your shopping bill, then by all mean, please do your shopping at Mydin Mall, USJ Subang Jaya ... LOL! Or at any other Mydin Mall near your place for that matter.

Oh and before I sign off, if you're a cat lover, then I suggest you check out this site called MyCatsHeaven.com cos they've got all sorts of stuff to pamper your little kitties such as something called a cat tree that I'm sure your cat is just going to freak out over. But hey, don't take my word for it, go and check it out for yourself :)

400 Hundred Words Max!

By now most of you know how long winded I can get at times (ok, all the time). Even my wife thinks I can get a little too long winded with my post and sometimes it can be a bad thing. Take for instance, just a few days ago, I was doing this assignment and wrote this nice, long (well, at least I thought it was) posting and added in the mandatory assignment link and submitted it. But it kept on rejecting the submission.

Ok, now that's a first. It has never happened before. Maybe it's a glitch I say. So, I try again. The same thing happens again. Ok, now that can't be a glitch anymore. So, I check all the link and yes, it's the correct link and put in the correct way. And yes, it's also in the correct blog, I've had an embarrassing experience before of doing an assignment for the wrong blog and then made a big fuss when it was rejected ... LOL! Ok, I'm a doofus at times, so sue me :D

So after checking that it is in the right blog and all this time, I try the submit button once again and it gets rejected again. I'm pissed and start bitching loudly until wifey comes up to me and say:

'Urmmm sayang oi, this site only allows you 400 words max and you got like 1,5oo words, no wonder they reject you! Be long winded some more!'

LOL! And you know what, she was right. There I was with a post about the best web hosting plan totaling to about 1,560 words when I was only allowed 400 max! Well, so much for that post. What's with the 400 words maximum limit, huh? Limits a guys creativity ... hehehe ... Well, I guess I just got to play by the rules and so far this is by far my shortest ever post!

And trust me, I had more trouble trying to write this short post than I would from writing my normal long winded ones. But don't you guys go and get used to this cos this is a one off thing. Before you know it, I'll be back to my usual posting style soon ... hahaha ...

*Just for information purposes, this post is exactly 400 words long. I hope whoever made that silly 400 word rule is happy now!
.
