That Jolly Ole Season ...

Last night I was at my buddy Adrian's place together with Sean. We were just hanging out and reminiscing about the recently concluded wedding and one of the topics turned towards the music selection for the dance that night. We all agreed it was totally horrible and the worse part is there were no slow numbers which I was seriously longing for.

With that we came to this conclusion that we're gonna organize a Christmas dance this year. Even though the music was not up to marks during the wedding, we did enjoy ourselves dancing that night and organizing a small Christmas dance where we could handle the music selections ourselves would make up for that night.

So, with that we started making plans already for it. The dance is going to be held at Adrian's place since he has a Christmas gathering every year, which is a tradition for him and one which Seansy and me have never missed (well, maybe one year we did ... LOL). Since Adrian is going to be busy with organizing the food and and stuff, Sean and me will be handling the music selection, this time making sure we have a nice mix of fast and slow numbers ... hehehe ...

Gosh, I'm already excited by this and really cannot wait for Christmas. Honey, you'd better get your dancing shoes ready because we're going to dance the night away again ... hehehe ... I simply love Christmas. It's one of my favourite festivals. The time for giving and receiving ... I can already picture all the present I'm going to be getting.

'What do you mean I'm not getting any presents, honey? You mean I'm the one who's got to be giving them out? Drats and double drats!'

Now this really isn't one of my favourite parts of Christmas. Getting presents for everyone normally gives me this HUGE headache. I remember last year, wifey and me spent an entire 8 whole hours in the same mall walking up and down trying to find suitable gifts for everyone. By the time we were done, we really couldn't feel our legs anymore!

That's why this year, I'm going to make it easy on myself. I've discovered this great site called CouponChief.com that is just perfect for my needs. I'm not going to have to fight with the yearly crowd and jostling for any available parking space just to buy everyone a gift this year. I'm just going to log on to their easy to use site, find everyone a suitable gift online from the countless merchants they have on their page, then give everyone the coupon codes and they can go redeem the gifts online themselves and guys, of course I'll pay for everything ... LOL.

I don't really know what I'm going to get for wifey yet but I've seen this great looking handbag which I'm planning to get her with the Zappos coupons that's on offer. She's been looking around for a nice handbag for quite sometime and couldn't really find one that she likes, so I really hopes she likes this one.

The two boys on the other hand would be much easier to get gifts for. I'm going to get them both this cool telescope with the Edmund Scientifics deals that's being promoted on their site. I'm sure they're gonna love it cos they've been asking for it for ages. As for the rest of you guys, I'm still looking for something suitable so hang in there while I browse Couponchief.com for more goodies ... LOL!

  8. Whoa... 8 hours of gift shopping? You guys shopped for the entire village or what!

It's a once in a year thingy so it's not so bad.

I've never heard or even been to a Christmas dance party. Normally it's singing the Christmas carols/songs.
