I Hate You!!!

I hate spammers! I absolutely despise them! If I could get my hands on them, I'll strangle the very life out of those bastards! Sorry for the language but I am pissed! VERY pissed! And on a Friday even!

I logged into my account this morning and found this comment below in every single blooming post I have.

BEIJING, Nov. 19, according to Xinhua Taiwan's "Today" reported that Chen Shui-bian's four-day fasting guard for medical treatment, including the Oriental Hospital and the Panchiao to spend a wow power leveling
total of nearly 20,000 yuan (NT, the same below) medical wow powerleveling expenses, as His health insurance card to stay in Taipei Detention Center, must first serve their own expense, the medical expenses from his detention in custody of the gold deduction, but Chen Shui-bian's custody, only 16,000 yuan deposit, the deduction is not enough, said the detention center, not wow gold part of the Will be asked to make up for the families or lawyers.

Come on you stupid brainless moron. Don't you have anything better to do with your freaking Friday mornings except to spam someones blog with your stupid auto (I would presume it's an automatic thingy) comments. And in every single (well, almost all) post I have!

I hate seeing comments like that in my comment box and I spent nearly the early half of the morning deleting every single spam comment I had. I'm not sure if I've deleted all of them but I got fed up after a while and just gave up. I'm seething inside! Really seething.

This isn't the first time it's happened to me and it's been the same person or website or whatever that has been spamming me all this while. I've had enough. I'm going to go to their website and write them a nice nasty email with some very colourful language that would even make Gordon Ramsay blush!

I even had to even activate my word verification option. I don't like doing that. I've always hated having to type in that word verification thing but I guess I have no choice but to activate mine. I have nothing against word verification but I always wanted my blog to be easily accessible to all my blog friends. But these spammers have really put a damper on that!

So, for at least a week or two, I'm going to have my word verification feature on and I hope you guys wouldn't find it too troublesome to type a few extra words when you leave a comment. I won't have it on forever, just for a couple of weeks until I'm comfortable enough to deactivate it again!

Ok, now to go write a nice long meaningful email to those bastards at PowerLeveling-Wowgold. I know this is like free advertising for them but I want the world to know just what useless spammers they are and hopefully maybe somebody will ban or block their site or something. I wonder if writing to Google or somebody would help.

Tell me, what would you guys do if something like this happened to you?

  2. I had spammers leaving comments too, that is why I added in that alphabet feature to deter spamming. Good thing you're doing it now. It will put a stop to that.

  3. Wow, an automated spammer can actually bypass the word verification system. Either that, or this is a manual wanker. :-)

  9. Oh...and I thought at first that you were going to comment on the spammer's comment, since you said previously that you do comment on every comment you received! :)

No worries, word verification is not a problem.

  20. Yes I had that problem and then I had to do what you are doing.

It has the button which reads out the code to help us blind bloggers that can't see it.

    Smiles!
    Hope your day got better

  21. The exact same thing happened to me once on Gypsy. Every bloody post had some ridculous comment on it from a spammer. I did what you're doing and had Word verification on for a couple of weeks at the most and I never had another problem.

I'm sure nobody really minds WV although I must admit under normal circumstances I hate it. But since you are such a sweetheart, I will do it for you with no complaints :)

  22. Well comment spammers are the reason why I had to put on the code verification feature on my blog. I had all sorts of spam comments, even in posts I had written a year ago!

And once I had the code verification on, the comment spammers went away too :)

  23. Angela - I'm hoping this will work for now ... And yes, my day did get better :D

  25. Perky - Same here. I had a comment (well, the same comment, really) in almost all my posts!

I hope this works though cos I hate seeing spam comments and I also hate having to delete each and every one of them!

  27. Marzie - Tu la, I was spammed in every single post! Don't worry, I'm not going to use this for long, just a couple of weeks or so. I'm not a fan of this word verification thing myself.

  28. Deep breaths....

I know what you mean about spammers. At my old blog I would get lots of spam comments. Luckily none of them ever showed up though because I had to approve each comment. I know it's a pain to do that and they never seem to learn that a comment with 15 plus links will automatically go to the spam folder, but it seemed to work.

By the way I just found your blog through StumbleUpon and think it's great! I'll definitely bookmark it and come back!

  29. Kimberly - First of all, welcome to my blog :D

Yeah, spammers are number one on my hate list at the moment! Well, I'm just going to have to stick with word verification for now and hopefully that will tone things down a little :D
