Woohoo! I'm officially jobless for the next couple of days and I am so happy! Yes, yesterday was my last day of work at the old office. It feels like a great huge burden lifted off my shoulders. While I have enjoyed working there all these years, I am even more happy to finally leave the place. I was a little sad though when I finally walked out the doors of that office with my box full of personal things.
Afterall I did work there for close to six years. I never realized that I would actually do it, quit that is. But I'm glad I did cos it's really time to move on to something better. And it feels great to actually wake up early and not have to get ready for work. Yes, I'm actually up early, I woke up at 7.00 am to be specific. My internal body clock is used to waking up at that time on workdays anyway.
So what am I going to do to pass the time? Well, I'm going Christmas shopping with wifey and the boys today. Yes, while you guys have to work, there I'll be roaming the malls doing Christmas shopping and having fun ... LOL! I'm actually looking forward to going mall hopping cos I'm eager to check out the Christmas decorations they put up. I'll definitely be armed with my trusty old camera snapping away pictures of the Christmas decorations around town :D
Ok, I'm not going to be writing my usual long winded post for today cos I wanna maximixe my day with wifey, so after I check out my auto insurance renewal policy, I'm going to have my bath and head out the house. All I know is I'm going to be having really achy legs by the time I get back from all that walking around today!
Note - Whoa, I really did mean it when I said this would be a short post. It's only 4 paragraphs long! LOL
.
