A big congrats goes out to the wife for completing the race in her personal best 10K time and now she's looking forward to taking on next week's 16.8K Adidas King of The Road. That girl has gone crazily mad over running ... LOL!
Though the race distance is something I do every other day for my training runs, I still had the jitters at the starting line waiting for the race to start. The last minute announcement of a change of route to avoid a clash with another race nearby didn't help calm the jitters one bit! I hate running routes that I'm not prepared for but there was no use complaining about it.
The race itself, though a little exhausting cos of the many inclines along the route was pretty fun :D All that training I do almost everyday came to fruition with me setting a good pace from start to finish completing the run in 52.29 in position 57 and getting a hard earned medal to boot :D
If he thinks I'm going to give him this medal back, he's sadly mistaken ... muahahaha! |
Great job, Pebbles! Hahaha Sorry...Nick & wife.
ReplyDeleteYou love for running is sure infectious. ^^
Catching up on sleep this afternoon? ;p
LOL. Love Pebble's lil' evil thoughts of keeping the medal for herself. Can't deny that it looks very good on her!
ReplyDeleteLina - Pebbles had this blur look while I was trying to put the medal on her ... LOL!
ReplyDeleteYes, I seriously need to catch up on lost sleep.
Terra - And she would keep it too if she had her way. She's very possessive of things we give her :D
