Christmas is just a couple of days away. I haven't done anything about it yet and here I am sitting and downloading episode after episode of the Star Trek Voyage series and watching them one after another, nonstop all week so much so that I'm beginning to think that I actually belong on a Starship. That would be awesome though.
The wife thinks I'm losing it and seriously cannot see what is so interesting with Star Trek ... LOL! Every time I watch the downloaded episodes, she keeps asking me,
'Don't they do anything on that show except talk, talk and more talk?'
It's not just talk honey, they're discussing how to create a white noise machine to close a temporal anomaly field that is being generated by an unknown lifeform that will destroy the entire universe. So, of course they have to talk, talk and keep talking ... LOL!
I've always loved Star Trek. Ever since I was a kid, I've had this fascination with the series. I can't even begin to count the amount of Star Trek novels that I have which I've read over and over and over and over again. I think I practically have every Star Trek novel that is sold is this country and am perpetually looking for more but alas, even the darn bookshops here don't have any for sale that I don't already own.
So, what does a Star Trek fanatic do? Well, he downloads episode after episode of more Star Trek stuff and watches them one after the other. I've downloaded so many episodes already that my laptop is running out of storage space. This doesn't include the hundreds of Star Trek e-novels and audio books that I've already downloaded in the past. I really need to burn them into DVD's real soon seeing as how I have a whole load more of Star Trek episodes to download and I really mean a whole load more!
I wonder if the wife will agree to me changing my name to James Kirk ... hahaha!
