Rock A Bye Baby ...

I don't know why but my eyes are so darn heavy right now and trying to stay awake is becoming increasingly difficult. It must deifinitely have something to do with chauffeur duties the past two days where I had to wake up an hour earlier than normal. I'm actually just counting the minutes till it's time to head home.

I don't really have any idea what to post cos when I'm sleepy my mind just doesn't work too much. Not that it works all that much anyway. I thought maybe blogging would help keep me awake but it doesn't seem to be working either. I'm actually having trouble trying to focus. Gee, maybe I should just go and take a short nap under my table ... LOL!

There's about an hour and a half to go anyway but I know it's going to be a long one and a half hours! We get off an hour earlier from work during the fasting month cos in my office beside me, my boss and another colleague, the rest of them are of the Muslim faith and need to buka puasa (breaking of fast) and get their food and all that hence the one hour earlier bunk off time. I'm not complaining though. Imagine if I had to wait an extra hour, I'd probably doze off at my table.

I don't really have anything planned for the weekend. Wait a minute I do have something planned for the weekend. Wifey and me are going to Tesco cos we saw something in the papers a few days back that we want to get which is pretty cheap. We're going to leave the boys at my cousins place cos my younger boy has made plans to hang out with them which is fine with me. At least you won't hear wifey and me screaming at him to not touch this or that ... hehehe ...

I know I'm going to at least sleep in late tomorrow to make up for the two hours of extra sleep I sacrificed the past two days (yes, I'm calculative with with my sleeping hours ... LOL!). That should help me recover. I'm yawning so much that I think my jaw is going to get stuck soon. I think this is also in part due to the lunch I had at home. We had left over chicken rendang and I ate quite a bit with rice this afternoon and the effects are evident right now.

I don't normally have rice for lunch cos it's bound to make me sleepy but the moment I walked in and opened the fridge this afternoon, I could hear the rendang pleading with me to eat it ... LOL! How could I say no to the poor thing? So, I got wifey to heat it up and had a huge portion of it for lunch. In fact I think there is still a little more left over but I'm not touching the stuff or even rice for that matter tonight.

I'm going back to my 'lighter' dinner menu for tonight which is a potato, egg and onion salad with chicken bits in it and yes Maslight, I am going to be adding a little of that pickled chillies in it too ... maybe I should take some pictures and make you go crazy again tonight ... LOL!

Oh and on another note, I'm sure most of you would have already been aware from Nessa's (the queen of reality shows ... hehehe ...) blog that The Amazing Race Asia, Season 3 is back. If you missed it on TV last night, head over to her blog cos she has the latest gossip about it there. I managed to catch it and it does seem to live up to its promise of being the toughest ever. Either that or the contestants are the weakest ever, whichever way you wanna look at it.

Last seasons contestants look so much fitter and much more sturdier than these seasons ones cos by the time they reached the first pit stop, they all looked like they were going to faint from exhaustion. I suppose they'll get fitter as the show progresses and no, I don't really have a preference just yet. I'll probably go with Bernie and Henry cos they seem to look like the most pleasant and capable team and I'm not saying that just cause they're from Malaysia, ok! Other than that, I'm just glad Neena and Amit from India (correct country ah Nessa?) got eliminated. They were so annoying and got on my nerves!

Will you just look at that? I'm not sleepy anymore. I guess blogging does help chase away the sleepiness. Either that or I'm just addicted to blogging ... LOL! Well, it did help the time to pass all that much faster. There's only about 40 minutes or so till it's time to head for home :D And if you have some time to spare, go and check out this book called A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. Someone told me it's a good book though I haven't read it yet. It's not my kind of book, so read it for me and let me know how good it is, ya ... hehehe ...

  28. Make Money With Blog - Thanks for your suggestion but lets face it, Smorty doesn't believe in giving anyone with PR2 and below any assignments and Sponsored Reviews, lets not even talk about how many I've booked with no response, so what's the point of signing up with them?

  34. Wow! You didn't have any idea what to post but you managed to post something anyway, and quite long, too, hahaa!

That chicken rendang must be so yummy and irresistible ha, you're wife shouldn't make it on Ramadhan, except unless you're don't fast.

Not my type of book, too. I prefer crime or detective novels. :-)
