A Few Short Lines ...

Just a quick short post (yeah right, I don't know the meaning of quick and short ... LOL!) to say that my connection is back to normal, for now anyway. Almost 12 days of hopelessly unstable connection was harrowing to say the least.

The P1 techs came yesterday evening and were stumped by the fact that the outdoor modem lost it's signal completely. They were standing around looking bewildered and after trying numerous repositioning of the modem at the back of the house, they decided to move the entire unit to the front which strangely enough got its signal back.

That modem was working fine for months and months on end at the back and I find it weird that it decided to just stop working. Maybe someone further down the road renovated his house and added some extra floors to block the signal or something. Maybe it's even something from the Twilight Zone (which by the way, I loved watching so much back then) or something, I don't really know but I'm just glad to be able to get online again.

Thank you Timothy for your once again, efficient, fast and dedicated service in helping me get my connection working. You took much faster to get my connection back then your customer service people who couldn't even give me a proper time frame or explanation as to what was wrong in the first place.

If any of you big wig bosses at P1 Wimax is reading this post, I'd recommend you give Timothy a raise or promote him to Director of customer service or something because he's the only one who actually knows what he is doing! It's only because of his assurances, dedication and hard work that I haven't canceled my account with you guys yet.

Ok, enough of my connection issues for now. I'm just going to enjoy this while it lasts :D Things have been hectic for me the past couple of days. My work has been keeping me pretty busy, which is good really cos then there would be money coming in. Sitting around with nothing to do is bad news when you work on your own.

I've also got a replacement car, a used car for now and it's in the shop getting a few parts replaced and changed and I should be able to get it back by today or tomorrow. I actually sent it in to the shop on Monday and told them to take their time doing the replacements and whatnots cos I want that car working properly when I pick it up.

It's really horrible not having a car to use after my car was stolen. No doubt I've been using my best buddy's car for the time being but I cannot use it forever cos he needs it for his work too. I can't really afford a brand new car just yet since I just started my own company but wifey and me foresee that we should be able to get a newer car by this year if we work hard at our company which at the moment is heading in all the right directions :D

I've only got three clients at the moment and they're already enough to keep me so busy that I'm running around like a headless chicken at times trying to please everyone. Just this morning wifey told me to calm down a little and not get so worked up over things. She's been following me around the past two or three days and has been observing how stressed out I get sometimes dealing with my clients and told me that I need to chill a little and she's absolutely right.

I'm giving myself unnecessary stress and lots more white hairs for no reason. I do tend to get too immersed in work and always want to please my clients all the time that I think it's a little unhealthy for me. You have so much more things to worry about when you run your own business and I'm glad that I have wifey there to give me some semblance of calm and balance in my life :D

Ok, that's all for now cos I need to do some prep for a board of directors photoshoot I have this afternoon for one of my clients which I'm doing an annual report project for. The shoot is going to probably take the entire second half of the work day. Will drop by your blogs for some catching up tonight.

  18. Hi Phillips,

As per checking our RF team had identified that the base station you are connecting experiencing interference from neighbor base station. Therefore, you may experience signal deteriorating / inconsistent connection. However, our RF team has completely retune the frequency on 25th March.

Please let me know if you need anytime help ya =)

    have a nice day.

    best regards,

    P1 Buddy
