A Letter To Myself

I woke up, checked my email and after reading up on my life insurance rate, was surprised to see an email addressed to me. It shouldn't be all that surprising really since I get lots of emails on a daily basis, more than half of them which are spam from some company offering to enlarge a certain portion of my anatomy ... LOL! I wonder if it really works.

Anyway, this email was rather surprising cos it was from me! Yes, I got an email from myself dated way back from April 28, 2007. I actually got an email from my past and here's what I wrote to my future self, well, more like my present self,

Dear Future Version of Me,

I'm sending this to you at 4.30pm, the 28th of April in the year 2007.

Hopefully you're still around to read this email in the future ... hehehe ... and most importantly, hope you still have hair and the world hasn't somehow blown itself up.

I'm in my room, wearing that 'flamin' hot arse burning' T-shirt. You're probably still your lazy old self ... LOL. Not forgetting a mean old grump too ... hahaha!

Cheers dude:)

I was laughing my head off at receiving that email from my past self. I don't even remember sending myself a future email. Good gosh, I must have been so darned free back in 2007 to have the time to write to myself.

One thing I know for sure is, that email is definitely from me judging by the sarcasm contained in it ... LOL! Only I could ridicule my own self like that. I wonder if I wrote to more of my future selves or not? I guess only time will tell :D

But it is kinda cool getting an email from the past, especially for someone like me who is intrigued with time travel and the space time continuum and all that weird stuff. Makes it so very 'Back To The Futureish' ... LOL!

  17. This is something original. Instead of writing a diary, why not an email to one's self. And then have a good laugh reading it in the future, lol!
