Gee, the week really flew by in the blink of an eye and I can't even remember what I did the entire week! I've been so busy with work (or I'm getting old) that I really don't remember what I do the entire day. All I know is that by the end of the day, I'm totally exhausted.
Today seems like an easy day in the office. My schedule seems kinda bare with just one appointment later in the afternoon, not that I'm complaining mind you, I could use some free time. I could do with some time sitting in my office which I hardly do except for a few minutes here and there and then it's all rushing out somewhere doing some never ending urgent jobs for some client or other.
Today is actually the longest time I've been sitting in my office which is close to 45 minutes now. It's like a record of sorts. Normally I'll be lucky if I can sit here for 5 minutes even. So I'm going to enjoy the free time and sit here and blog while searching the web for the best diet pills for women till my next appointment ... LOL!
At least the weekend is also upon us and I plan to stay home and vegetate the entire weekend. I've been at work the past couple of weekends and I don't want it to become a habit unless there is something urgent. Officially we have a five and a half day work week but I don't really come in on Saturdays. My production people comes in and so does my partner but then he comes in even on a Sunday which I think is a little crazy.
I do have a family and life beyond my work and while I will work my butt off without questions during the work week, I try as much as I can to reserve time with the family on weekends. Unless there is really something they can't handle in the office on a Saturday, I won't go in at all. After all you work so hard to achieve a certain sense of success and you don't have the time to spend it with your family is really not worth the success, right? Well, that's my opinion anyway.
But the weekend won't really be entirely vegetating all day cos this weekend is my planned clean the house day and I do also have my training sessions to go to in the early evening. That's one thing I never miss if I can help it.
It's been close to seven months since wifey and me started on our training and get fit sessions and I'm proud of the results we've both achieved that we don't let up on any of our regular training days. We don't ever want to go back to what we were prior to this. It's been a hard seven months of sweating, panting and slogging to get to where we are and no matter what we do, our training is always an important part of our schedule.
Anyways, here's wishing you guys a great weekend and don't forget to have fun :D
