That Evil Occasion

My blogging has been taking quite a back seat these days. Trying to find the time to blog is getting harder and harder. I remember a time when I had loads and loads of time to blog. I could write for hours and was basically known for my infamous long winded postings.

Though I still do have loads of things on my mind that I would like to put down to words but just finding the time to write it down is really difficult. I start my day so early in the mornings but the time is never enough. I'm perpetually busy from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed and none of those hours in between leaves me much time to blog.

Today is a rare occasion where I have some time to squeeze in a few lines about some palm pre products before I get consumed by work again soon. There really isn't enough hours in a day. There was a time when I thought 24 hours was just too long, now I find it just too short to be able to do all the things I want to do.

Anyways, today is Valentine's day and though it's like a mortal sin for some people to celebrate the occasion in this country, I'd still like to wish all of you a happy Valentine's day. What have you guys got planned for this supposedly sinful and evil occasion? The issues some people can create in this country leaves me totally speechless!

As for me, I've stopped celebrating Valentine's day ages ago. I don't believe in making all those florist, gift shops and restaurant owners any richer than they already are by trying to sell me something so exorbitant, a price which could probably feed a small nation, just to profess my love to my other half. Heck, I profess my love to her everyday. Besides, Valentine's has become so commercial that its lost its true meaning.

Gee, my ten minutes of blogging time is up. Work has suddenly come in and needs my attention once again ... siggghhh ... till the next free time I have, have a great week ahead and thank god tomorrow is a public holiday :D

By the way, I can't believe I've been blogging for 4 years and 1 day exactly today :D I wrote my first post on the 13th of February 2007!

  1. "..supposedly sinful and evil occasion?" LOL! From the traffic conditions, I can safely assume that couples have already started celebrating last Saturday onwards.

As for me, I'm gonna stay home with my other half and spend some well-needed quality time :)

  9. Zen - According to certain a certain religion here, Valentine is a time for sex and promiscuity! How shallow. For me it's not the occasion but the individual. If you're going to do something bad, why blame the festival. Thank god I of a different religion :D

  10. Stay at home and don't watch TV or be on internet also can lead to sex and promiscuity.

Anyway, it's fun to all the promo for Valentine's Day. :)
