There's always lots of dogs for sale there and they're all such cute little fellows. The shop assistants normally take the little doggies out and customers get to play with them at times. The shop assistants recognize the two of us and would always allow us to carry and molly coddle the dogs there.
Of course, since we have our own little shihtzu diva at home, we're naturally drawn to shihtzus. They simply irresistible and when they're little babies, they're simply oozing with charm. Anyways, we noticed something about these dogs during our visits there.
They have a tendency to sleep at the same time, play at the same time, act cute at the same time and eat at the same time. Wifey thinks they're drugged and I'm inclined to agree with her. Even the slightly older dogs also sleep along with the tiny tots at the exact same time, it can't be a coincidence, right?

We've also categorized all Schnauzers as Rupert's (after my buddy's dog) and all Poodles as Dommy's (after Annyboo's little doggie) ... LOL! Anyways, if you're ever in the Empire Gallery vicinity, do drop by Petsmore and you'll definitely want to take home a doggie or two or even three.
The moment we reach home though, Pebbles will always give us this suspicious look like we've been fooling around with other dogs ... LOL! Don't worry you pampered diva, you'll always be our cute little shitzu.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of dogs snoozing at the same time...well, i think my dogs do that too. They usually sleep/looks lazy around the same time. Usually late morning or around 3-4pm.
But then again, I do have quite similar theory with ur wifey about dogs at the pet shop being drugged. Especially those that are too nice and quiet even when many people around in the shop. :)
I've stopped myself from dropping by the petshop in my neighborhood. That way I can stop thinking of getting one ... they are such a temptation. So cute and cuddly especially the shih-tzus, I must agree with you.
ReplyDeleteI always do think that dogs have some kind of supernatural power. I remember my first and the last dog i once had..........out of sudden, she hid herself under the coach, stopped eating,looked so sad then after a few hours later, my dad passed away, coincident ? don't know

ReplyDeleteThe Pet Shop in Sek.14 PJ is quite nice. They just got a litter of shih tzu puppies and they're sooo cute :) Especially when 7-8 of them come to the window and stare at you!
haha.. i am like that too, nick! I love watching those doggies in petshops. And they all look absolutely adorable. Some even have a pity face as if they are asking you to bring them home. And that is how i bought my second dog - an american cocker spaniel. She looked so pitiful and adorable in the cage. but when we brought her home, her true colors revealed. She was the naughtiest dog i've ever known!! but of coz, we still love her! :)

ReplyDeleteIt could be they drugged them.. cos it is very unnatural for them to sleep all at once... or the environment makes it very nice to sleep.. cool room and after you eat.. surely you have to nap ma.. hahahahahahaha same with me too.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get really rich... don't buy all the dogs in the petshop laa.. adopt laa.. Furry Friends Farm, PAWS... SPCA... usually you can find the dogs you want there. They all deserve a forever home and second chances.

ReplyDeleteMarzie - You know Marzie, there's this shop in Taipan where they have cats that are so huge it makes Pebbles look like a teeny weeny stuffed toy la ... LOL! They're so fluffy and sit in their cages looking like some royalty la ... hahaha!

ReplyDeleteIf I ever get rich Annyboo, I'll but the entire SPCA, PAWS, Furry Friends Farm and even open a home for homeless dogs la ... I think all dogs, in fact all animals should have a home, well maybe not them tigers la ... they might just end up having me for dinner ... LOL!
