Chill

I'm up to my neck with work that I think I need a disney world vacation for some rest and recreation soon. Everything that's on my plate right now is labeled as 'super urgent' that sometimes I'm running around like a headless chicken just making sure everything goes according to schedule.

As it is, I just recently lost a huge profit project from not being able to get things done on time, which really is a bummer! It would have seen some hefty profits coming in but unfortunately things didn't work out the way I planned and the job was lost. I was pissed with myself for a couple of days over it which added to stress that I'm going through these days.

As much as I'd like to pick and choose my projects right now but I simply cannot afford to. The price of things out there has tripled tremendously and if I don't accept every project that I can get my hands on, someone else will and I'd end up having a difficult time trying to put food on the table.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm having a tough time struggling and slaving away just to be able to survive every month. Things are not at all cheap out there these days. Just this evening, the wife and me went grocery shopping and had to part with a heck of a lot of cash for the items we bought and the shopping cart not even half full!

I don't know how else to make more money except work like a slave. I honestly blame this all on the useless thieving folks we have running the country who live like kings and queens, living it up with the good stuff while the rest of the country have to suffer like fourth class citizens. And then they have the cheek to tell me to live moderately at that. Heck, how do you think I'm living right now?

I'm praying that the people of Malaysia will succeed in getting that change we all need for a fresh start and for a better future. With that said and done, let me go figure more ways to make some extra money.

  1. Prices have gone up! I went grocery shopping last week and immediately after paying I was sad to see my wallet looking thin but still happy I got my cereal, milk, etc!

Hope our kids realize how much we work to put food on the table :)

  2. Money will never be enough my friend. Projects will come and go... maybe a much bigger better project is on the way for you. Don't be too stressed.. accumulation of stress can bring worse things to us slaves. Go out for a run and chill ya.

I feel ya, it's horribly expensive to live in NJ too. I'm forever behind in all my bills and I can hardly afford MILK.
