Torn Between Two Shows ...

This is going to be a short post. I wasn't intending to write anything today but this nice little assignment on lcd tv just came up and I couldn't resist doing it :D Besides they only gave me one day to do it. But hey, it's good money you know, especially now when the price of everything but my salary is going up. Any little extra I make will definitely go a long way. Besides, it's about TV's, how hard can that be to write, right? LOL!

And since we're on the subject of TV's and all that, one of my eagerly anticipated TV series is back tonight (or at least I think it's tonight). And it's none other than the latest season of CSI: New York :D The only thing is it's going to clash with this other new series called Pushing Daisies. It looks like a pretty decent show and I know I'm going to be switching between the two shows during the ads.

I'm a self confessed CSI fan, well maybe not so much for the Miami franchise of the series though. Horatio Caine is just a tad bit too much to take with his corny one liners and not forgetting that trademark sunglasses of his with his sidewards tilt of the head ... It so pisses me off big time! I don't think I've ever seen him talk to any of his suspects without tilting his head that way. Of all 3 of the CSI Franchise, I would rate CSI: New York as my favourite followed by CSI: Vegas and coming it at number 3 would be CSI: Miami.

Anyways, I'm hoping New York is on tonight though. But if it isn't then I'll at least get to watch Pushing Daisies without interruption. But thank god Ugly Betty has ended the season or I'd be hard pressed to choose between Betty or New York! At least that's one decision in life I won't have to be making anytime soon ... LOL!

  4. Sting - Initially I didn't catch on to CSI: New York but then there is something about the quality acting from Gary Sinise that got me hooked on it. But you're r9ght, it's a little more violent than Vegas ...

And don't forget to catch it at 10pm tonight. I checked and it's definitely on tonight ... woohooo ...

  6. I haven't seen Pushing Up Daisies but some of my American friends say it's a great show. Why don't you put a video in and tape one while watching the other, that way you don't have to miss either of them :)

  11. Kadus Mama - Yes, I watch Ugly Betty too and strange as it may seem, I actually like the show (*blush*) ... LOL!

Trust me, sometimes I think the regular TV (especially 8TV) has way better shows than Astro ...

  12. Gypsy - From the glimpse I caught of it yesterday, it was a pretty neat show ... Unfortunately I could only catch half an hour of it before CSI started.

And urmmm, you might find this somewhat back watered of me but I don't have a recording device of any sort for the TV ... LOL!

  13. Syura - LOL! That was a funny video!

It's about this guy who can bring the dead back for a minute and then he has to get them dead again, something along those lines la ... hehehe ... but from what I saw, it was pretty good a funny as well ... It's on 8TV at 9.30pm ... wah, makes me sound like I'm working for 8TV pulak ... hehehe ...

I've haven't had the chance to catch Chuck yet cos it clashes with another show I watch ... sighh ... decisions, decisions ... hehehe ...

  14. Tammy - No arguments there :D I like Vegas too. It has it's own funny quirky characters unlike the Miami one which is just so rigid!

  18. Hey Nick,I like this post so much. I'm also a die hard fan of CSI but for me Miami is NO.1. Vegas comes as NO.2 and New York in third place. Plus, you really should watch Pushing Daisies because I already watch 8 episodes of Pushing Daisies. It is fun.

Just for your information, I watch almost all kind of TV drama that involve police, detective and investigation. Just said it - CSI, Criminal Mind, The Shield, NYPD Blue, Monk, Bones, Without A Trace, Midsommer Murders, Law and Order - just to mention few. :) LOL
