Wimpy Kid!

I saw this book in MPH bookstores quite a while back and thought it was a pretty cool book. I kept telling wifey that I wanna buy the book but end up not getting it. This is a normal scenario everytime I'm at MPH bookstores. Everytime I tell her I wanna buy it, she'll just roll her eyes and say,

 'yeah, yeah ...'

And every single time I'll end up coming out of the store without the book. So today we were at MPH again cos I wanted to check out some Star Trek books and see if they had anything I didn't already have. I'm a huge fan of Star Trek and have practically every single novel that can be found in Malaysia, an encyclopedia, a behind the scenes book, Star Trek cards and whatnots.

While I was browsing around the science fiction section, wifey was off at another part of the bookstore and when we left I saw a plastic bag in her hand and she handed it to me saying,

'I bought you a book.'

I was excited, books always excite me and when I opened the bag, I was ecstatic cos she got me the book that I've always been putting off buying.

'Diary of a Wimpy Kid.'

Ever since I first laid my eyes on it along time ago, I always wanted to get this book. I thought it was a pretty cool book but I can never seem to buy it for myself. I think she finally got fed up of me always putting off buying the book that she decided to get it for me. Now if she'll only get me the other 5 in the series (hint, hint ... hehehe ...).

I know I'm going to enjoy this book and probably have loads and loads of laughs just reading it. It will be a while though before I even open the plastic wrapping (yes, it's still in the plastic wrapper) to read it cos I'm already in the midst of one book right now which will take a while to finish.

Thank you honey, you're the best and I'm really looking forward to reading it. Yes, yes, I'll let you read it too only if you promise to buy me more ... LOL! And while you're at it, maybe you could get me a book about writing resumes too :D
