A Pleasant Surprise

First of all congrats to the Malaysian football team for winning the AFF Suzuki cup last night against the Indonesians. While I'm not a fan of our national football team, they did play some pretty good soccer from the brief moments I watched them play. Let's hope they can keep this up and pray that some meddling, publicity seeker (which is normally the case in any sport here) doesn't get his hands involved with this current batch of youngsters.

Aside from that the year is almost ended and thanks to the football teams victory last night, tomorrow has been declared a public holiday, one more reason for the entire country to be happy about :D At least now everyone gets a nice long weekend off till next year.

My entire holiday programmes has been dealt a huge blow with me actually having to go back to work on two occasions which left me fuming and wifey raging! I'm not going to elaborate on it much as I don't want it to ruin the rest of my holiday but let it be known that all hell will break loose in the office when I go back to work on Monday. There's going to be a lot of changes happening in the office to ensure crap like this doesn't happen in the future.

Looking back at the year, it's been a pretty good one though it didn't start off that way. In early January I quit working and wasn't sure what direction my life would take but things fell into place and life has been a little easier for me, though not without its occasional stress and hiccups.

I don't have much to complain about the year. Like I said it's been pretty good. I have a wife who loves me and shares my passion, joys and pains. I have my own company. I'm healthy and have a roof over my head with two bratty boys and a little dog that thinks she's the queen of the house :D I give thanks to the good Lord above for all this and hope that it's an even better year in 2011, not just for me, but for everyone :D

On a final note before I go and look into that finance job advert that I'm going to put out, here's wishing everyone of you a beautiful new year and may all your wishes and dreams for 2011 come true.

  1. Yes, we are all happy with our football team's success.

But then, in order to get another PH like this, they cannot win so often lah. Have to make it special and maybe win once in a decade! LOL

Despite the PH holiday tomorrow, many accounts staff in my dept will also be turning up to work. Not enough time to close year-end account! o.O

May you have more success in the coming year, Nick.

Happy New Year to you & family. :)
