You Light Up My Life

The weather out there is just about blistering! I don't recall it ever being this hot. The house is a furnace and stepping outside makes it feel like you'll melt into nothingness in no time! I wonder what's causing this heatwave, probably the solar flares that's happening with the sun or something. Damn you sun, why the heck do you need to flare up so much!

It's really uncomfortable and makes working all that more difficult. I get tired faster, feel lots more lethargic and sweat quite a lot. Maybe looking for the best multivitamin for men might help give me back some energy to work in this blazing heatwave.

I dread having to go for appointments cos even with the air-conditioning in my car working overtime, it still feels like I'm sitting in an oven. And the weather doesn't help with ones mood either. It makes everyone irritable and touchy.

The weather has taken such a drastic turn in the past few years compared to the times when I was a child. Back then, I remember that you could play outside in the sun and nothing would happen to you . These days, you'd probably suffer from heatstroke, faint and end up hospitalized!
Wifey was commenting yesterday that she pities the two boys cause they walk home from school in the afternoons and with this weather, they're probably roasted by the time they reach home. The school is slightly under a kilometer away from our house and walking back in the blazing heat probably makes it feel like 10 kilometers. I hope they try to walk in the shade (whatever shade there is) as much as possible.

I suppose that's what you get when you cut down every single tree in sight and start building some condo or mall and not take into consideration what it does to the environment. I can't imagine what the weather would be like in the next five years to come. How much hotter is it going to be? We'd probably need air-conditioned suits all day ... hmmm ... maybe I should start designing one and marketing it now, it could be my ticket to becoming a millionaire (yeah, right Nick!) ... LOL!

That's all from me for now. Until my next post, happy sweating!

  1. Last time got tree to buffer the direct sunlight when we play/go outdoors. I walked a few KMs to school on the afternoon for school activities and it wasn't a pain because there were shades by the street. Now, trees are being chopped off left and right and leaving a bare landscape. :(

  7. The weather goes crazy too here every now and then. What I realize? My legs are dual tone since I jog wearing shorts. Apart from that, like you said the air conditioning ain't helping. I could sweat inside the car without exercising with aircond.
