Stand Up Comics

These days I get my source of entertainment courtesy of the folks from ruling regime. They provide my daily doses of laughter on a bad work day. The chief comedian among them happens to be our 'beloved' prime minister who just happens to come out with some funny statements that has me laughing away, sometimes in side splitting pain :D

Take this excerpt of a report I read today for example:

Exciting, challenging for Najib

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak described his three years in office as very exciting and full of challenges.

After three years in office, the prime minister believes people have more confidence in the government

'We have come a long way in the three years. When we started, we started from a position that was full of challenges, that is the political tsunami and there were lots of sceptism and cynicism.'

'But after three years, people have more trust and confidence in the government. The rakyat believed we can deliver and we have delivered,” he told the Malaysian media during a conference today ...'

Seriously, if that isn't comedy I don't know what is. I mean seriously, he'd give Drew Carey a run for his money if he decided to quit being a PM and become a stand up comic ... hahaha ... I wonder what he would say about pentair pool parts if given the chance.

I have to give our ruling regime credits for brightening my mornings with their comedic statements. If it wasn't for them, my entire work day would be filled with grey clouds ... hahahah! I won't even get started with our number two stand up comic, our deputy PM!
